GUEST ROOMS

Guests will always find fresh flowers and gourmet chocolates in their rooms. We believe in chocolate.

The NEALE ROOM on the first floor is a spacious room with a working fireplace, a comfortable queen bed, in-room private bath with tub & shower, leading to a cozy redwood-lined two-person sauna. The Neale Room is named for Alice Neale, a noted interior decorator who owned the property from 1900 to 1930.

The HADLEY ROOM on the second floor is a spacious sunny room with a working windowed stove, a canopy queen bed, and in-room bath with tiled shower and heat lamp. This room is named for the blacksmithing Hadleys who owned the property from 1850 to 1899.

The LIVINGSTONE ROOM on the second floor is a charming hand-stenciled room with a canopied four-poster queen bed, and a private bath just across the hall with a shower and deep jet-tub that invites a long and leisurely soak. This room honors Uncle Billy and Aunt Annie Livingstone who were the second occupants of the house, c. 1830-1850.

We are a non-smoking home. See below.

Room rates are $100-$135* and include a full country breakfast served at the common table. (*plus 9% N.H. tax which we cheerfully pass on to the State)

Common Rooms:

The living room and the dining room are two of the original three rooms of this c.1790 home. Our guests frequently relax before the living room fireplace. Some curl up with a good book in one of the wingback armchairs (where they are sometimes caught napping).

Breakfast at Three Maples is a leisurely affair served by candlelight at the common table. You'll start with fresh fruit and juice, a basket of homemade pecan sticky-buns or scones, and on to a tempting entree.

Last month our guests were offered roasted asparagus omelets, homemade sausage, maple walnut stuffed french toast, and a mouth-watering bacon-egg-cheese tart with Three Maples potatoes. Next month could bring a surprise or two.

And we like to serve afternoon tea with homemade treats whenever we can. How about in front of the fireplace after a walk up Mountain Road amidst fall colors?

Be assured that we can accommodate any special dietary need...just let us know.
